Flying Cloud Isle

Flying Cloud Isle was my clients family home as a child. The goal was to keep the integrity and views of the wide water lagoon while bringing the house up to date. We upgraded the finishes and some of the architecture throughout the house, with a full remodel of the Kitchen, where we added a walk-in pantry and a butler's pantry. Inherited pieces are important parts of our history, and in this case we chose to repurpose her mother's walnut Dining Room table, chairs and china cabinet in a black lacquer for a modern look. The family enjoys the old memories while making new ones around the table.
